Head Sommelier

Introducing Ivan, our esteemed sommelier with an unwavering passion for the art of wine. Born in Bulgaria, Ivan’s journey into the world of wine has been nothing short of remarkable.

His dedication and commitment to his profession have led him to work in some quality establishments, where he has curated unforgettable wine experiences for his guests.

Ivan’s deep-rooted love for wine began at an early age, as he grew up surrounded by the vineyards of Bulgaria where he gained early experience helping out at his local vineyards, this undoubtedly influenced his journey into wine.

Through extensive training and continuous exploration, Ivan has developed an exceptional understanding of grape varieties, regions, vintages, and the intricate nuances that make each bottle of wine a unique adventure. He pursued an accreditation from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust and achieved a level 4 diploma in wine.

Ivan gives a captivating insight into the story of the wine he serves including what region it originates from, which winemaker has produced it, how it is made and why it is a perfect pairing for the dishes it complements.

Whether you seek a rare vintage, a hidden gem, or a personalised wine selection tailored to your preferences, Ivan is dedicated to guiding you on an unforgettable journey through wine.

Really good and left very full after the 11 course menu. It was a great experience – really feel like you get a long meal for your money as we were there over 2.5 hours. If you’re lucky like we were you’ll see Pep Guidiola.

Food was delicious, service was amazing, everyone very attentive. Loved seeing the chefs prepare food with such dedication and focus. I went on my own and even one of the owners came by to ask for feedback and told me a little more about the place. Such a great vibe. The magician was on point. Highly recommended. I will visit soon for sure.
